A Very Special Day for Angus

Angus Councillors voted to support a motion to object to the TKUP project, an important decision that now opens the door to a public inquiry.

A sincere thank you to Angus Councillors for listening to the concerns of local residents, and for their professionalism over the past few years when they were unable to comment publicly. Their commitment to acting in the public interest is genuinely appreciated.

Thank you also to the campaign groups who have put in countless hours of work, research and organisation, and to every member of the public who wrote letters, sent emails, and made their voices heard. This outcome simply wouldn’t have been possible without that collective effort.

While this is a significant win, the battle is far from over. A public inquiry is now a real possibility, and funding will be required to ensure the community is properly represented.
